Who We Are?

Welcome to My Playa Mate!

Our journey began with a seasoned SoCal Ocean Lifeguard who, after over a decade of observing beachgoers, saw a need for a product that could make beach days both safe and hassle-free. This lifeguard’s experience and dedication led to the creation of My Playa Mate, a brand designed to ensure you’re always prepared for a day at the beach.

The initial My Playa Mate beach pack was thoughtfully curated to include all the essentials: a beach mat, towel, waterproof phone case, beach aid kit, and a versatile roll-up bag that is useful for any situation.

We expanded our lineup to include a PVC and mesh cinch bag, perfect for carrying all your beach gear; waterproof snapback sunhats with embroidered logos and inspiring messages on the inside tape to protect you from the sun.

My Playa Mate does not include sunblocks as we all have different types of skin, preferences and needs. However the following link will help you choose the sunblock that is right for you. EWG.org/sunscreen
